I used to hate this colour but now it's one of my most-used. It brings out the green in my eyes and can look bold and fun with minimal effort.
Some of my favourite purple products are:
- Too Faced Food Court from the Cinnamon Swirl Palette - as shown in the picture below, it's bright and metallic and would suit every eye colour
- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencils - I love these, I have the more muted matte colour of RockStar but for those who prefer something bright and metallic Psychadelic Sister
- Charlotte Tilbury Rock N Kohl in Velvet Violet - also works beautifully blended all over the lid
- Mac Prunella - a classic and really sophisticated. If you want a very subtle pop of colour, softer than a black but still giving that definition, this is the one to go for
- Danessa Myricks 24 Hour Cream Fix Creams - these are long lasting and can be used anywhere on the face. Journey and Wild Orchid are different ends of the metallic purple spectrum while Chosen is a good matte option.
- Lily Lo Lo Deep Purple - a great ethical traditional powder option
