Nowadays I see people spending extravagant amounts of money on skincare. Of course if you have the money and skincare is your jam then go for it but I know that I for one definitely splurge on skincare when frankly I have enough to get me through the next six months at least. If you, like many are really changing the way you look after your skin then this is actually a great way to save yourself some money - I think this is just as good as other AHA 'toners' I have used and at the time of writing these were cut to be £2.95. You get 60 pads which is at least 2 months worth but probably longer if you don't use them everyday.
These pads are gentle enough to be used daily but have such a nice effect that actually a couple of times a week should suffice and in fact I tend to use them on days my skin looks or feels like it needs a bit of oomph. If it's looking dull, or I have dry patches or bumps then these sort that out. If I've used Alpha H or similar the night before then I sometimes skip these as I don't want to over strip the skin and make it sensitive.
I am a big fan of pre-soaked pads as they make everything a bit quicker and easier and are fantastic if you travel a lot (which sadly I don't). Some have found that these aren’t wet enough - I haven’t had that problem but it is probably a risk you take with a less expensive product. What I really love about these though is the great packaging. All the information you need is on the pot. The lid and the pot are recyclable (check your local recycling), the have the full list of ingredients on the label, you don't even have to spend hours trying to peel it back. It's suitable for vegans, vegetarians and it has the leaping bunny symbol. I wish all brands would be this visible.
