Gold Collagen Hydrogel Face Mask

I don't have a lot of time for face-masking. That's what I think but actually I do, I just need to be a bit more organised about it. I often feel like a face mask, like a bath bomb, is best enjoyed when you have actual time to sit and relax it but in reality, unlike a bath bomb, a face mask will do what it does whether you sit with your feet up in a zen like state or just stick it on while you're doing the online big shop (or indeed the in-store big shop if that's what floats your boat!).

For the Gold Collagen Hydrogel Mask I do like to use it in bed while I read my book. It's a sheet mask so you can wear it when you are up and about but being propped up in bed with my book is enough for me and it encourages me to go to bed with enough time to actually have time to read which is something I really miss since having the boys. I also like to give the ingredients time to themselves on my skin which they probably wouldn't get earlier in the day (not able to do a barefaced school run sadly).

There are a ton of masks on the market right now but what appealed to me about the Gold Collagen Hydrogel is that it's for dehydrated, tired skin and it has had incredible reviews so I had to try it for myself.

This is definitely one to try if you find your face gets hot and inflamed (which mine does sometimes) as it's cooling and soothing when you apply it. It's in fact quite cold and slimy when you first put it on which can be a bit of shock but you get used to it very quickly. This would be a problem if it didn't fit so well but it's very quick and easy to apply and sits well on the face. As the mask warms up with your body temperature it releases moisturising and active regenerating ingredients onto the skin.

It contains hyaluronic acid and glycerin to help moisture absorb into the skin and it really is incredibly hydrating. I also noticed that my skin did glow after use. If you had time then this would be lovely to apply in the morning or afternoon if you were going out (which a lot of reviewers seem to do) but I like to leave the ingredients to settle into the skin over night so I wake up with refreshed skin.

Apply to dry, clean skin, leave for 20-40 minutes. After you remove leave any excess moisture to be absorbed. Another reason why I love to do this at night is I always want to leave it on for 40 minutes if not a sneaky bit more. This would be great to take on holiday or business trips and for the brave, absolutely love to use on a flight.

Even if you aren't organised enough to use these once a week (as they suggest) or you are bit slutty with your mask usage these are well worth having in your arsenal.
