Daniel Sandler Watercolour Customisable Colour Set for Cheeks

Definitely one of my favourite releases of this year and one of those products that you long to try and doesn't disappoint. I've been a fan of the Watercolour Blush's for years. I use them on every bride, over 90% of my other clients and they are definitely in my top five most recommended products and the one I get asked most about ('what colour should I get?' - bit of a responsibility!). Getting a full set in my kit has been the dream and one day I will achieve this (though doing make-up seems like a distant dream as I sit next to my 5 week old!). These have been out for a little while but arrived the day I properly went into labour with Jack so this review has been a bit delayed!*
As someone who has struggled to find blushers that don't make me look like a clown the finish of the Watercolour blushers is perfect for me and what makes them so ideal for brides - really natural because they blend beautifully into the skin or base. For someone who uses these products a lot in their professional kit this is a fantastic and welcome addition but this isn't just for the pros.

Blusher needs to work with your skin tone and any changes to it, what you are wearing, your other make-up. When I have a bit of a tan and a lot of freckles my face looks completely different to when it hasn't seen the sun for months on end (thanks U.K weather) and my blusher will look different too. If you are wearing a strong lip you may want a different tone to your blusher to compliment it and with this kit you can basically make any colour you want and with any finish - matte, pearlescent on full on highlighter this has you covered.

So to the colours - Pop is a medium toned matte pink, luxe is a delicate matte peach, sun glow as warm golden bronze illuminator and Moon Glow is a sheer pearlescent white highlighter. Now of course you can wear each individually and actually Sun Glow is stunning on the eyelids either just with a bit of mascara for a bit of a glowy lid on the beach or under something a bit more dramatic. But you can blend either two, three or even all four of these together to get a blush tone that suits you and what other make-up you are wearing that day. I've not had a whole lot of time to do my face over the past couple of weeks but these have been getting a lot of use and my go to mix when I don't have a lot on is Luxe and Sun Glow.

Pop, Luxe, Sun Glow, Moon Glow
Watercolour blushers are completely waterproof so they last all day (again making them perfect for bridal). They suit all skin types and skin tones (I have never had anything but hugely positive feedback when I use them) and a bottle will last you a very long time. Use them on their own or under a powder blush I can't find any fault with them.

They can take a bit to master as a little goes a long way and you can easily build these up so it's best to start with a tiny bit of product. You can either dab on with fingers or a beauty blender but for once I really recommend using with the brush that was made to go with them. The Water Brush is the perfect shape, size and softness for application but it means that you can have that specific brush for these products which are probably a different consistency to your other blushers. I use the Water Brush myself but usually apply with a beauty blender on clients as I find it gives a really seamless finish with their base (and is one less brush to clean!).

Though this product was sent to me to try I have reviewed it honestly.
