Daniel Sandler Invisible Radiance Foundation and Concealer

Invisible Radiance Foundation and Concealer by Daniel Sandler This is one of the products that was on my 2017 wishlist and in fact I have been meaning to try for years. The reason I haven't is that I sometimes see Daniel at make-up events and wanted him to colour match me as it was his product and he's such an amazing make-up artist... but it never happened. Then he very kindly sent me some to try and it was probably one of the highlights of 2017 so far. Seriously, I have been desperate to try it.

And of course, as with every Daniel Sandler product I've tried I have not been disappointed. The finish is beautiful and one thing I've noticed is that I can't stop stroking my face when it's on. Not in a weird way, well, not in that much of a weird way. But it feels really soft, and not clammy like some foundations.
I'm not hugely keen on is the curved plastic tip that you use to get the foundation out of the pot. You can see it in the picture on the far right. However, it is more hygenic than say, a brush, and it does the job to get the foundation onto the back of my hand which is where I apply it from anyway. This does not detract from the rest of the packaging which I love - everything works so well. The lid that holds the concealer closes properly and securely and has a fantastic mirror in it. Always useful. And, with the help of the plastic applicator, you should be able to get most of the product out of the container. No waste.

I like to apply this with my hands as it works beautifully into the skin that way. It doesn't contain an SPF which I have to say, I quite like. I often find with foundations and bases that if they do contain an SPF it will be quite low which makes me worry if I am out and about on a sunny day and want a higher sun factor. Sometimes to layer them up causes them to sort of cancel each other out and I want to know that I've got sun protection on. With this I just apply on top of my SPF, or not if I'm using it on a client for a shoot and I'm ready to go.

As I always say about Daniel's products (and is actually in keeping with his new blog) this is a product for grown-ups. I don't necessarily mean anyone over a certain age but if you want a nice finish, no fuss, no frills, a bit of glow and radiance without looking sweaty and feeling clammy then this is the foundation for you.

If like me, you are not sure what colour you are then on the Daniel Sandler website they offer an amazing sample service where for  £2 you can order up a mini pot of the foundation that you want to try so you can check the colour. You can also get samples of the watercolour blush so you may as well get some of those too... you know, while you're paying for postage an all.

I would definitely buy this foundation again. The coverage is very nice, the concealer blends beautifully and doesn't sit in the fine lines around my eyes, the feel on the skin is wonderful and it works really nicely as a base for other products - blushers, highlighters etc.
