March News

Photo from the Benefit UK website
So. I thought I'd start doing a sort of round-up post at the end of the month. I get a lot of emails from PR's about new trends and releases that, for whatever reason, never make it onto the blog but may be worth a mention here. There are also lots of new launches that I love the look of but, obviously can't buy everything. So they'll be listed here too. Let me know if it's useful/interesting.

New Releases

Benefit have released a new blusher, Gal'ifornia which looks beautiful and the Cheek Parade which is a lovely mix of some of their most famous bronzers and blushers and their new one Galifornia. This isn't cheap but all of these are wearable and would suit most skin types so if you are someone who loves a bit of blush this is a great treat. I know the Hula Light is a new shade but I'm not sure that both are necessary - my favourite (Sugarbomb) is not included.

Bobbi Brown - two new gorgeous looking releases I can't wait to get my hands on and two of the first since Bobbi Brown stepped down from the brand. The Art Stick Liquid Lips look like they are fantastic for spring, some really wearable colours. The Havana Brights illuminating cheek palette looks gorgeous but its the cosmetics bag I have a real hankering for.

Real Techniques Marie Curie 6 Sponge pack - now these aren't new I don't think but I love that they are for such an excellent cause and you really can't go wrong with Real Techniques or anything from Pixiwoo really. These girls know what they are doing.

News and Events

Daniel Sandler are moving warehouse (to a bigger premesis yay!) and so until 28th March they are offering a 10% discount to say sorry for any delay in your order. Just add Onthemove as a coupon code when you are checking out. These guys have the best customer service.

K-West Hotel and Spa - this is very close to my house so I was aware it was a hotel but had no idea it was a spa. My sister and I met for coffee there last week as she was going for an Aromatherapy facial having been for a deep tissue massage before and loved it. On 29th March 6-9pm they are having a nail event and the first 10 people through the door will get a free manicure and everyone after the first 10 will get 50% off. If you are in West London and fancy a treat then get there - it's about 5 mins walk from Shepherds Bush station.

What New Products I've Been Testing

Daniel Sandler Invisible Radiance Foundation & Concealer - I'm very lucky to have been sent these to try and so far I'm loving them - the feel of them is like you are not wearing anything and having foundation in the bottom and matching concealer in the top is perfect.

The Ordinary - I've been using the hyularonic acid, lactic acid and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F. One of them has made me break out though so I'm stopping til that's sorted out and then will start up one by one. My fault for getting over excited.

Coming up in April

UMAExpo - which I am really looking forward to. They have a fantastic new loyalty card scheme for regular visitors which is really worth checking out.

If you haven't already then subscribe to my YouTube channel, come and say hi on Twitter and Instagram where I'm @corinnaharrod and sign up to my monthly newsletter - I won't spam you. It's just a round up at the end of the month of everything that's been on the blog.
