Charlotte Tilbury Shopping List (June 2016)

I'm always being asked for recommendations and taken make-up shopping with friends who find the whole thing a bit daunting. Even I do sometimes, you go in determined to get something and you get persuaded into something else which is sometimes a good thing, sometimes bad. Charlotte Tilbury is an incredibly popular new brand, and rightly so as most of the products I've tried are just fantastic. But that doesn't mean that they are all what you want and need.

Nothing beats having a consultation with a good professional who works with the brand as they will have the best knowledge of the products but then they'll also be wanting you to buy stuff. As a make-up artist not affiliated with any brand I'm going to tell you what products I would pick from the current Charlotte Tilbury range. This is as close as I can get to going into the shop with you.

  • Marie Antoinette Cream Shadow - ok so this is green eye specific but is such a beautiful colour that it would suit anyone. Blend it to be sheer or build it up to make your eye colour pop this is a lovely product for summer
  • Light Wonder foundation - I have yet to try this on my face, only on the back of my hand but recently it seems that every time I ask someone what they are wearing that looks so bloody fab on their face it's this.
  • Golden Goddess Eye Quad - I loved the Limited Edition Fallen Angel quad and this is the closest thing. Great colour payoff and four colours that work beautifully together.
  • Instant Look in a Palette - I thought this was a bit gimmicky at first, then I swatched it in the shop and it really is lovely, and pretty universal. As it should be.

This list does not include the products I already own that I recommend all the time - Lip Cheat lip pencils in Pillow Talk and Crazy in Love, Lipsticks in Bitch Perfect and Lost Cherry and the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette
